General Terms & ConditionsWelcome to our web site! The Baby Proofing Shop offers an online information and communications service that we hope you will find entertaining and informative. There are a few rules of the (cyber) road that our visitors must follow when using our site, so we ask all our visitors to read these General Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) carefully.
Please be sure to read this Agreement carefully, especially the disclaimers and limitations of our liability, since use of this site constitutes your acceptance of, and agreement with, the terms and conditions set out in this Agreement.
We do not intend to make changes to our terms and conditions often but reserve the right to do so as needed. It is always a good idea to double check when you visit our site to ensure that you have read and agree with our most current terms and conditions. Any change in our terms and conditions will be prospective only. We generally do not make any changes to our terms and conditions that have a retroactive effect unless legally required to do so. Your continued use of this site after that time will constitute your acceptance of any new or amended terms.
You may return unused items in their original condition and packaging within 45 days. You will receive a full refund minus the original shipping charges. In order to get your refund, please contact customer service for a return authorization number. Returns without an authorization are not guaranteed a refund. Returns must be accompanied by your name, address, telephone number, invoice and the return authorization number assigned by customer service.
Please make sure that the package is securely wrapped. Send package back via USPS, UPS, or similar service. Return costs are the customer's responsibility.
We will happily make exchanges for products that were ordered in error. Contact customer service and we will help you make arrangements to ship the item(s) back to us and send you out the correct products. Additional shipping charges may apply.
We stand behind all of our products and will replace any defective products at no charge to you. We will contact the product manufacturer who may replace the defective product directly or may ask you to call them. Please contact us with your concerns, we may be able to troubleshoot problems with your product.
Incorrect Shipping Information/ Refused Orders
If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect shipping address provided by a customer or is refused, the customer will be responsible for the return shipping cost as well as the redelivery cost.
Once you place an order our system begins processing. Should you need to cancel or change your order for any reason, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and request your change. We will make every attempt to alter or stop the order from being shipped. Once the order is in transit we will be unable to cancel or make any changes to the order. Please note that we can only refund shipping costs if the return is a result of our error.
Payment PolicyPayment Options
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express as payment options. If you would like to inquire about different payment options, please call our customer service department and we can arrange alternative means of payment.
8.3% sales tax will be added to all orders shipped to Arizona.
Shipping PolicyWe use USPS and UPS. We ship most of our packages from Phoenix, AZ.
Some items may be delivered directly from the manufacturer, in which case they may use a different distribution company.
We use the U.S. Postal Service for most of our shipments. Shipping charges will be calculated at the time of checkout based on your order total and shipping preference. We will email you a confirmation that your order has shipped, and the shipping company will send you a seperate email with tracking information.
Standard Delivery is U.S. Priority Mail delivered within 2-3 business days for most locations. 2 Day Delivery is USPS Express Delivery, delivered overnight to most locations. There is no weekend service for our second day delivery options. Orders received late on a Friday or during the weekend will be shipped on the next business day.
If an item you order is on backorder we will notify you via email as soon as your order is processed. The wait will usually only be a few additional days as we monitor inventory levels regularly.
P.O. Box & APO/FPO Shipping
All orders shipped to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO military addresses, Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands will be sent via the U.S. Postal Service.
Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico
Small and light orders will be shipped at no extra charge via the U.S. Postal Service. Heavy and large orders may incur additional charges. We will contact you before processing your order if additional charges will apply.
All Canadian ordered will be sent USPS Priority, usually delivered within six business days. Recipients are responsible for paying all the duties, taxes, and brokerage fees upon receipt of the package. The Baby Proofing Shop is not able to estimate these additional costs.
